Service Overview

You are welcome to make an appointment with our office if you have concerns about your child’s dental health. No referral is necessary.

Some of our patients have their regular dental homes at their regular dentists.
A consultation appointment is the first step after your family dentist refers you to our clinic.

Goals for your consultation:

Get acquainted with you and your child.

Allow your child to explore the dental environment with our staff

Review medical history, x-rays and dental findings. Find out more info from your child, for example, their head and neck anatomy or their emotional needs

Discover your expectations and answer your questions about treatment

Provide recommendations for what is the best approach for your child’s dental treatment.

New! Virtual Consultation

We value your time!

To accommodate your schedule, we offer virtual consultation. For the many of you who are tech-savvy, our consultation can be accomplished on mobile devices or computers.

Please ask for more details if you are interested.

Why do I have to come for a consultation when I have already seen my family dentist?

The moon and stars may not have lined up last time you brought your child to see the dentist. Children can be moody. Our dentist may have better luck for a more thorough exam second time, especially if your child has warmed up with the dentist last time.
For our pediatric dentist to individualize your child treatment plan, we do a few more analyses, for example, occlusion (how your child bite), airway, head and neck exams. We would also like to interact with your child to find out their temperament and personalities. Last by not least, we would like to review your expectations and how you would like us to help your children. The consultation appointment is the foundation for us to devise a tailored treatment plan and set up a positive experience for your child.
